On Friday, June 6, the Regina Dominican seniors had their prom at Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette. The 1904 building is located along Lake Michigan and offers a beautiful view of the lake.

Prom officially started at 7:00 p.m. and was followed by a cocktail hour inside the club. Regina seniors had a chance to mingle with one another, faculty, and administration, while enjoying some tasty Hors D’oeuvers.

The Senior Class Leadership Board came up with the theme “Space: the Final Frontier.” The club was decorated with space paintings and space-like centerpieces to accent the theme. When students walked in, they were given water bottles so they can remember their prom forever.

“We thought it would be a really fun and creative theme. We could do a lot of cool decorations, and the class liked this theme the best,” says Kathryn Cressy, Senior Class Leadership Board member.

Dinner was served after cocktail hour. The students sat with their friends, while dining on chicken with a side of rice and vegetables.

Overall, Senior Prom was a very beautiful night. The girls and their dates danced all night long and had fun; they will remember prom forever!
