Timeline of Paris Attacks
Friday, November 13
9:15 p.m.– At the Stade de France, France and Germany were playing a friendly soccer match. President Francis Hollande along with 80,000 people watched the match.
In the video, you can hear the explosions that stopped the game.
9:20– Shots were fired at the Cafe Carillon and Le Petit Cambodge, a Cambodian restuarant. Not far from the two restaurants a popular pizzeria, Casta Nostra, is attacked by gun shots fired at people sitting on the terrace.
9:36– More shootings happened at a restaurant called La Belle Equipe.
9:43– An attacker enters another cafe called, Comptoir Voltaire and detonates a bomb that is inside of a bag.
9:45– Shots are fired at a venerable music club called Bataclan where the American band Eagles of Death Metal was performing. Rounds of gunfire is shot into the crowd. Dozens of people flee the theater.
9:50– A suicide bomber self destructs outside of a McDonald’s close to the Stade de France. No one is harmed.
10:00- 10:08– At least 26 people are dead, and there were at least 100 hostages.
10:58– French President, Francois Hollande declares France is in a state of emergency. French military is deployed. 42 people are dead.
Saturday, November 14
12:18 a.m.– Two suicide attacks and one bombing near the Stade de France.
12:44– Police storm the Bataclan.
1:00- 1:23– Assault on the concert hall ends. Two suspect attackers kill themselves by blowing themselves up when police enter the building. 100 hostages are killed.
7:35 pm– Islamic State takes responsibility for the attacks.
Sunday, November 15
Suspects arrested in Brussels are found in connection with the attacks. Syrian and Egyptian passports are reportedly discovered near two of the suicide bombers killed during the attacks at the Stade de France.
French jet bombs ISIS- French fighter jets bomb a series of ISIS towns in Raqqa, Syria. 20 bombs are dropped, and all targets are destroyed.
Monday, November 16
The Islamic State releases a video threatening to attack Washington, D.C.
U.S. Military air strikes attack and destroy 116 ISIS trucks and share information with France.
Anonymous, a mysterious group of hackers, declare cyber-war on ISIS.
Tuesday, November 17
Russia attacked ISIS sites in Syria.
27 U.S. Governors refuse to let any Syrian refugees into their states.
Wednesday, November 18
Police surround a Paris apartment and target Abdelhamid Abaaoud who is believed to have been involved in the plot behind the Paris attacks. He is killed.
Russia places a $50 million reward for information on who took down the Metrojet plane.
Thursday, November 19
ISIS releases a propaganda video threatening an attack on New York City.
Saturday, November 21
Anonymous says they have complied a list of ISIS targets.
Monday, November 23
Brussels, Belgium remains on lock-down as an imminent terrorist attack on the city is real and unspecified.
