Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life

It’s fall y’all! The leaves are changing colors. It is finally sweater weather, and the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks is back again.

Starbucks left us all in complete shock with the announcement of the first pumpkin handcrafted beverage since the release of the PSL back in 2003. This groundbreaking drink is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

Available at most participating locations, the new drink begins with a base of Starbucks Cold Brew with a fresh pumpkin cream topping made of sweet cream and Starbucks signature pumpkin sauce. Topped with pumpkin spices like nutmeg and cloves, the pumpkin cream cold brew is served in a regular cup and nitro lid.

Since the first day it was available, it has been my go-to drink. Different baristas have different techniques when it comes to the ratio of cold brew to cold foam, but the most reliable Starbucks to try this fall treat is at their café at Central and Crawford in Evanston.

Enjoying your beverage begins by taking a big gulp of cream: the best part of the drink. Then, you can either stir the foam and brew together or enjoy the cream and then enjoy the unsweetened cold brew at the bottom (like I usually do).

Once you try the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, there is no going back to the classic PSL.

As Starbucks keeps reiterating over social media, “Experiments are rewarding. We love it when they result in a new favorite!”

Starbucks definitely knows what is going on with this new fall delight. I ten out of ten HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

Just this week, Starbucks also released the Nitro Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. It is the identical beverage using the nitrogen-infused cold brew rather than plain. For other fall beverages, try the classic PSL or Salted Caramel Mocha for a chocolatey treat.
