Q: What is your ‘spirit animal’ and why?

A: My spirit animal is a Netflix-watching sloth. We both love sleeping, eating, cuddling and Netflix.

Q: What are some things you have noticed about working at an all-girls school?

A: The first thing I noticed about working at an all-girls school is the openness of the students. The students here are hilarious, silly, outgoing, studious, and incredibly intelligent. I see young women who are true to themselves because they don’t fear how they are going to be perceived by boys.

Q: What’s a strange hobby you have/something you like to do in your free time?

A: I like walking in my spare time and striking up conversations with random people I meet. I love talking to strangers! Especially in my neighborhood because I live across the street from a retirement home and the residents also love walking and striking up conversations with random people.

Q:  Any funny/embarrassing stories from high school?

A: The last week of school during my senior year students were allowed to be out of uniform. The only rule was that we could not wear jeans. Well, my friend and I decided to wear jeans on the very last day of school. The principal saw us and made us put on the old uniforms he kept in his office. We spent our last day of high school in calf length culottes and baggy button-up shirts.

Q: What kind of music do you like?

A: I like Latin Pop music, bachata, and alternative music. But I listen to electronic dance music or rap when I exercise.

Q:  If you could bring any 3 people to dinner (dead or alive) who would they be and why?

A: If I could bring any 3 people to dinner, I would bring Frida Kahlo, Jack Black, and my paternal grandpa. Frida would talk about the injustices of the world and pain, Jack Black would lighten the mood, and my grandpa would tell awesome stories from his childhood.

Q: What would you like to be doing with your life if you weren’t working at Regina?

A: If I weren’t working at Regina, I would be in the Peace Corps or teaching English abroad because I love traveling and working with people!
