The story began with Erin (Julia Roberts) injured in a car accident. Unable to work, she goes to court to try keep her job. She loses the case. As a single mother with two children, Brockovich needs to find work fast. She arrives at her lawyers office demanding a job. With no law experience, her boss is very hesitant at first. Brockovich is persuasive and determined and does not take no for an answer.

Working at the law firm, she stumbles across a case that piques her interest. A major corporation unintentionally is poisoning drinking water that has been killing townspeople. The fiery crusader, Brockovich, finds her calling with a cause to fight for.

Brockovich and the law firm decide to take on the case and bring justice upon the corporation. The possibility of a small law firm defeating a major corporation with “big time lawyers” has a slim chance of winning.

The film is based on the biographical story of Erin Brockovich. Erin Brockovich is truly an inspiring movie for women. The film tells a story of a strong, ordinary woman who ends up doing something extraordinary. The movie provides young girls with a message that they can do anything they set their minds to, even if the odds are stacked against a person.

I would recommend this movie to everyone. It’s a powerful film with some humor, romance, and heart blended together.
