Family time can be a struggle when everyone sits around the TV and fights for the remote. Enhance your typical uneventful family time by investing some of your time into exciting games for all to enjoy. Here are four games that will definitely make your lifeless family night take a total 180!

Scattergories
Scattergories is a game for 2 to 6 players. In this game, players are each given a list of categories. One must then roll the dice to pick a letter to play with in under three minutes. Players find words that start with the letter on the dice to fit the categories on their list. The object of the game is to fill out all the categories with a word that begins with the designated letter. A player will only score points if other players do not have the same answers. At the end of the game, the player who receives the most points wins.

Pictionary
Pictionary is a game designed for teams. In this game, players take turns silently drawing different images while their teammates try to guess what they are drawing. The object of the game is to be the team that is able to correctly guess the most images.

Taboo
Taboo is a game of word-guessing designed for groups. At least four people are needed to play the game. This game includes a buzzer and a variety of cards to guess from. The object of the game is for your partner(s) to guess the word on your card without using the word or any of the five similar words listed on the card. The team that is able to correctly guess the most words wins the game.

Apples to Apples
Apples to Apples is a game for 4 to 8 people. In this game, players need to match a red card (usually a noun) with the green card (usually an adjective). The one with the green card must pick which red card is the “best match” to the green card. The player who wins is the one with the most green cards.
