Unfortunately, in the past eighteen years, there have been many shocking and horrifying terrorist attacks that have occurred not only in our country, but around the world. We, the youth of today, have grown up not only in a fast-paced and ever-evolving world, but a world that is violent, unsettled, and disturbed.
There seems to be a “normalcy” in another mass murder on the news or an attack from a terrorist group killing many innocent people. Although this is the world we live in, our generation remains united and committed to hope and peace.
