Nov. 19 and 20 were important nights for the Theatre Department. It was the performance of “Seussical the Musical!” For three months, students worked extremely hard to perfect their show. From countless rehearsals to sleepless nights, they all had one goal: make this production the best show possible; and so it was.

Many students were already familiar with the storyline and could relate to it. Although there were a couple malfunctions with the the lighting and sound, everyone came together  to make the show wonderful. There is something different with live theater, reality is a bit altered at some points. Live theater is straight raw talent with actors and actresses learning to work with any situations that arise.

Talent  was abundant with the casting. The costumes were quite extraordinary this year, especially the birds. The color scheme was well done because it depicted the characters very well.  The play is also very cool because it has people from other schools who were  a part of the show. Overall, the play was a spectacular production of “Seussical.”

As Dr Seuss said, “Dont’ cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
