Staff Profile: Mr. Jordan Doles
Paws up to our newest member in the Regina community- Meet Mr. Jordan Doles the new theology teacher!
Mr. Doles attended the small liberal arts college, Franklin College. Luckily, the college is located in his very own hometown in Indiana. It was there that he decided to double-major in history and secondary education. Eventually, he decided it was his time to leave his hometown and he then began his studies in theology at the North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Once Mr. Doles graduated, he continued to explore the education and ministry fields. Just before coming to Regina, he worked as a special education assistant at Eugene Field Elementary in Park Ridge and as a registered behavior technician for Autism Home Support Services.
Mr. Doles truly believes God led him to Regina Dominican. He said, “Every phase in my educational and professional career has shaped me and I can look back in retrospect to each of those steps and see the different ways God had been preparing me along the way for the position I am in now at Regina.”
He finds himself to be lucky to be at Regina because working here means he can help students grow emotionally and spiritually. Even though he’s a man in an all-girls environment, he claims that his experience so far has been “awesome.”
Outside of Regina and his study of theology, Mr. Doles enjoys a variety of other things. He especially enjoys spending his time with his wife, whether it’s going to new restaurants, the movie theater, or staying at home. He and his wife even helped chaperone Regina’s recent fall fling. Other than that, Mr. Doles enjoys listening to music and reading books.
Something he, fortunately, decided to share is that he has an obsession with Star Wars. He said, “I allow Star Wars to consume significant parts of my life. Like, probably more than is socially acceptable.”
The whole Regina community is very excited to welcome Mr. Jordan Doles as well as all of the other new teachers and staff members.
