Softball has grown by leaps and bounds this year. There are now enough players for a junior varsity team, without players having to double roster on both teams.

Varsity had a weekend tournament March 21-22 in Jacksonville, Illinois. With the loss of senior pitcher Niki Richards ’14 this year, Emily Herberg ’16 and Karlyn Manley ’16 have been the team’s primary pitchers.

“Our season has a lot of potential and our first games show what we’re capable of,” said Madison MacBain ’15, varsity captain.

Audrey Jahns ’15 and Herberg are also varsity captains.
