AP Exams:
AP classes took their AP exams at the beginning of the month. There were 13 tests that went on for two weeks. Students will receive their scores in July.
Senior Prom:
The seniors had their prom on May 6 at Wilmette’s Michigan Shores Country Club.
Mamaste:
Mamaste was a mother and daughter yoga class hosted by Regina. It was taught by dance teacher Alyssa Motter and her mother Paula Mayfield. Mrs. Mayfield has taught yoga for 15 years and has a bachelors degree in psychology, a masters degree in counseling, and a RYT certification by Integrative Yoga Therapy. Mrs. Motter is a dance and yoga teacher in Evanston, IL. She teaches various forms of yoga throughout Chicago.
French and Spanish Honor Society Induction:
Family and friends were invited to the ceremony to watch the members be inducted. A reception followed after.
Thespian Induction:
The International Thespian Society inducted new members, recognized the graduating seniors, and inducted new officers for next year. The inductees performed a short monologue or skit before they were inducted.
Exchange of Officers:
Students, faculty, and staff were honored for their accomplishments and work.
Senior Exams:
The seniors took their senior exams to end their four years of high school. Congratulations to all the seniors!
Donor Scholarship Breakfast:
Invited donors enjoyed breakfast and a speech from a student speaker.They also had the opportunity to meet with scholarship students.
Alumni Induction:
The class of 2016 was inducted into the Alumni Association.
Physics Field Trip:
All physics students were invited to go to a field trip at six flags.
