What do you expect out of your students?
I try to challenge them. I find it very, very exciting for them to achieve more than they think they could and improve as much as they can.
Why did you become a teacher?
I have always loved English. It was my favorite class. I always liked the idea of helping people to try to like English as much as I did. I also love books because of the human experience. I enjoy seeing what students say. I find it challenging and rewarding.
Favorite part of Regina so far?
Everyone is so helpful and they are such wonderful girls. They are all confident, young women and they are making the world a better place.
Favorite high school memory?
During my last year here, I participated in the final senior abstract skit in the Variety Show. I also liked my track and cross country meets and gnimocemoh.
What are you looking forward to most?
Pep assemblies, I remember those were always fun.

What has changed since you came to Regina?
I really don’t think it has changed. I mean, it’s different teachers, but the same feeling. The girls are still positive, friendly, and confident. It’s still home.
