What do you expect of Regina?
I hope to grow the leadership program so that every student feels that they have benefited by being here. I hope that every student is impacted by this unique program, and is grateful for it in the future.
Why did you decide to become the Director of the Leadership Institute?
I wanted to be a part of something where I could build a developmentally meaningful program. I also really wanted to work with young women and teach them about the power they have.
Favorite part of RDHS so far?
Everyone is so welcoming and nice. Also, after working at St. Rita High School, an all boy’s school, I’ve noticed that the biggest difference is that it smells really good here.
Favorite high school memory?
I went to Maria High School, which is was also an all-girl’s school. I loved playing the flute in the band and orchestra; we were able to play for the President and at many other important functions. I’m still close friends with many people from high school.
What are you looking forward to most?
Getting to know all of the students, and working with them through the Leadership program – and having the opportunity to watch this program grow!
