How did you learn about the job at Regina?
“My daughter, Ryan, is a freshman at Regina. Ryan had told Sr. Mary Margaret that I am a pastry chef, and she asked if I was interested in working at Regina.”
What is your daily routine?
“I arrive at Regina at 7, and I immediately start filling the fridges with food. Then, I help with the other preparations that are necessary for the day.”
How do you decide what goes on the menu each day?
“The cafeteria manager decides what goes on the menu everyday.”
What is your favorite food to make at Regina?
“My favorite food to make at Regina are the chicken wraps. They are fun to make and the girls seem to enjoy them.”
What is your favorite food?
“I love macaroni and cheese! Lately, I have been adding seafood, such as shrimp to it, and that’s probably my favorite food.”
What is your favorite food to cook during the holidays?
“My family is from Louisiana, so we usually have a crawfish boil, which is made up of crawfish, potatoes, and corn. Also, I am a pastry chef, so my German chocolate cakes are very popular at my house.”
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
“My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with my mom on Christmas Eve. She hosts Christmas Eve every year, and then my sister and I spend Christmas day with our husband’s families. I love spending time with my mom, my sister, and our children.”
