Meet Mrs. Lindsay-Deddens!
Meet Mrs. Lindsay-Deddens! She attended DePaul University and majored in theology.
Q: What were you like in high school?
A: I moved around a lot in high school. I started high school in New Jersey and I was pretty reserved but social. I loved to write and sing.
Q: What is your spirit animal and why?
A: My spirit animal would be a dolphin because I love water and I would be free to roam.
Q: How do you like the all girl school environment?
A: It is my first time teaching at an all girls school. It allows smaller classes for discussion and the girls are more vocal.
Q: What do you do in your free time and what is a strange hobby you have?
A: I love to write and read and run on Lake Michigan in Evanston. I love to spend time with my husband, family and, friends. A strange hobby is that my sister and I send goofy selfies to each other.
Q: Do you have any funny/embarrassing stories from high school?
A: When I was a senior, my younger sister told my teacher to tell me in front of the whole class that I was adopted from Russia.
Q: What is your favorite type of music?
A: I like indie rock. I like the old Mumford and Sons, The Killers and Augustana.
Q: If you could bring three people to dinner who would they be and why?
A: I would bring my grandfather that died when I was three months old, St. Maximilian Kolbe who was persecuted by the Nazis and St. Edith Stein who wrote about women’s role in church.
Q: If you weren’t doing this job what would you be doing?
A: I would hope to be a writer or a published author.
