Meet Mrs. Chamberlin!
Maura Chamberlain is one of our amazing staff members working in the Development Office. Below are some questions and answers to get to know Ms. Chamberlain better. Welcome, Ms. Chamberlain!
Where did you go to college and what was your experience like? What advice would you give to seniors?
I went to college at Miami University My advice for students would be to make connections, develop relationships, and stay in touch with your high school friends. My college experience was amazing and it really helped me later in life. My office position for my sorority really helped with my organization skills.
Where did you previously live/do?
I moved five times. I have lived in St. Louis, Evanston, the suburbs of Chicago, and I now living in Wilmette.
What do you do in your free time?
I participate in triathlons. I am also the vice president of a women’s organization.
What is your Favorite music and why?
My top three artists are the Beatles, Shawn Mendes, and Adele because all three are very inspirational and have good messages.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A doctor.
If you didn’t have this job, what would you be doing?
I would work for a non for profit organization for the homeless.
Any embarrassing stories from high school?
On one of my first dates in high school, I spilled a bucket full of popcorn all over my date.
What three people would you invite to dinner?
Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Carell, and President Bush.
If the world was ending, what would be your last meal?
Chocolate chip cookies!
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would go to New Zealand because my family really likes to hike and New Zealand is stunningly beautiful.
