Are you and your friends or family looking for a place to go during the long winter break? Well, the wait is over. Go visit the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights!

The zoo, during the holiday season, is a great place to walk around all bundled up on a winter night. Looking at the amazing light show is a great way to spend an evening during your winter break.

Due to the frigid temperatures, there are only a few animals you can look at. My favorite animal to see are the monkeys. In the monkey exhibit, there is a table where you can “adopt a pet” by buying a stuffed animal. To me, it was heartwarming to see the awareness being raised for the animals in the zoo.

Also, throughout the zoo, there are many different little shops where you can buy a necklace with lights, light up hats, festive gloves, and so much more!

Although I didn’t eat at the Zoo, there are also places where you can grab quick bite to eat, then continue your walk around.

I loved the zoo lights. The vibe was amazing, and the vibrant colors everywhere you look really gets everyone in the holiday spirit. Every tree was lit up, and it was so beautiful to see.

The Lincoln Park Zoo also incorporated specific famous characters to light up. My favorite light up characters were the characters from “The Lion King.”

Overall, I highly recommend the zoo lights if you, your friends, or your family are looking for a place to go over winter break.
