Over Spring Break I want to try out some fun and easy craft projects. Do you have any suggestions on which ones I should attempt?

Dear Cute-Crafts,
That is a great idea to keep yourself busy over Spring Break! Well, the tried and true first craft idea I have are friendship bracelets! Grab your besties, have a sleepover, and create one-of-a-kind bracelets to wear at school. The materials are easy to find and cheap to buy and you can make them as simple or as complex as you want.

Another great craft idea is to tie dye! This craft is a perfect way to spend time outside when the Spring weather finally arrives. One of our Crown staff members wrote a great article on how to tie dye last month. Click here to read all about it!

Dear Gina,
I’m going to a warm location for Spring Break, but I’m a little self-conscious about my beach body. Do you have any tips to help me feel comfortable in my own skin?

Dear Beach-Body,
The warmer weather is coming soon which, yes, means that swimsuit season is here again. However, that does not mean you have to stay inside or not have fun on the beach or at the pool. You can own your body! No matter what your size is, you are 100% beautiful inside and out.

It can be tough to have the courage to walk around in a bathing suit like you own it, but a good tip is to simply fake it until you make it. If you pretend to be confident, you mostly likely will start to truly feel confident and that is awesome!

If that does not work, then just remember this simple piece of advice. Everyone at the beach will be in a bathing suit too, so chances are a lot of people are feeling the same way as you. If you focus on the fun times you are having, then what you are wearing will not seem as important!
