Cross Country Off To Great Start

With still over a month left of the season, the Regina Dominican cross country team is off to a great start. The team has competed in various races so far this season. For a small team, they have been a stiff competition in all of them.

Two weeks ago at the Warren Invite almost every runner beat their personal record. Helena Walo ran the 3 mile with an outstanding time of 19 minutes and 47 seconds. The team is led by coaches Mr. Bohlke and Ms. Block, as well as captain Colette Cooney and Gracie Simon. Seeing as how the season is going so far, the coaches and captains are doing a great job leading the team.

Competition aside, Helena Walo said, “We bond as family, we all have a great time together.” Keep it up Regina Cross Country!
