Bowling winds down
The varsity bowling team is entering the final chapter of their season: state playoffs. This Saturday, Feburary 7, is the first day of Regionals for the Panthers.
They have defeated some talented schools this season including Fenwick and Ignatius. The Panthers bowled a very close game with Resurrection, but just fell short. They earned an 8th place finish in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) playoffs.
Stephanie Zalinski ’17 was named a GCAC All Conference player, averaging 160 pins per game.
” It’s been a good season, but it’s not over yet. We have a talented group of girls on this team, and we hope to go far in playoffs,” said Zalinski.
The Panthers are coached by Mr. Pete Clark and the only senior is Grady Oller ’17.
