Bao Hoang, The Man With the Motorcycle
Regina Dominican welcomes one of the newest additions to our staff, Bao Hoang. Hoang graduated from Northeastern Illinois University. He has a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
Hoang has many duties here in Regina. His main job is accounting, but some of his other responsibilities include bookkeeping, recording spending and saving, but he also works with new staff and staff that are leaving to make sure they get all the information they need for a smooth transition.
Hoang says he chose Regina because he used to work in corporate finance and wasn’t able to be who he really was. A big part of choosing Regina for him was that was able to volunteer to drive the bus in the morning, help out with sports, or help serve lunch in the cafeteria. Hoang says he feels “well rounded” at Regina.
When asked what his favorite hobby was, he responded by saying riding his motorcycle. Hoang describes himself as “very easy going and nothing bothers me much.”
Not many people know this about him, but he is scared of fish. He can eat them or look at them, but he does not like to touch them. Hoang is very close to his family. He has one half brother, and he says that they are great friends. Hoang is a first generation American. He says, “My parents are boat people.”
Regina is so excited to have Hoang on our staff. Paws up to Bao Hoang!
