NHS Sponsored Dance Marathon Raises Money for Danny Did Foundation

Dance marathon is one of the biggest fundraisers at Regina organized by Regina Dominican’s National Honor Society. This year, the proceeds go to the Danny Did Foundation. This foundation hits really close to home because it is the story of senior Mary Grace Stanton’s little brother, Danny, who passed away from SUDEP, also known as Sudden Unexpected Death from Epilepsy.

This year’s Dance Marathon was held on March 1. Students paid a flat fee of $25, which included a donation to Danny Did, t-shirt and free pizza, water and special events. Along with a DJ, a henna tattoo artist, Nothing Bundt Cakes, there was also games such as bags and ping-pong as well as an Orchesis performance and Zumba exercise for everyone. The Photo Booth was on hand for everyone to take their picture of this memorable event.

This is the great opportunity for the entire Regina community to come out and experience a fun night knowing that proceeds will go to such a great cause!
