I’m having a hard time managing my time.

Dear Time Management,

I’m sorry that you are having such a hard time with school right now, but don’t worry things will get better as the year goes on. If you need help managing your time use my tried-and-true tips.

One thing you could do is make a schedule for everything you do during the day. For example, make thirty minute or even one hour slots for math homework or studying for a science test, then schedule a break right after that. Try to leave allotted time slots for social media or Netflix too so that you don’t waste time procrastinating.

Another way to manage your time is to prioritize what you have to do. That means you have to do the most important things first and then, if you have time, do the small things on your list. So maybe start that history paper before you try out that new Pinterest braid hairstyle!

Dear Gina,

There has been so much drama in the past few weeks because Regina and Resurrection’s homecoming is on the same day. All the Resurrection girls asked guys weeks and weeks ago and now there are barely any guys left. It’s a struggle.

Dear Homecoming Struggle,

Homecoming is always a stressful time, but this does make it a little more difficult! Even if your dream date is already taken, you can still have a blast at Fall Fling by following my tips!

Who says you need to take a date to Fall Fling in order to have a good time? Go with your group of friends or even invite one of your besties from another high school if you want to. One thing that makes Regina’s Fall Fling so unique is that we still have so much fun even if we don’t have a boy to go with because making memories with your BFF’s is way more fun!

So if you can’t find a date, your Fall Fling is not ruined I promise! Get your hair done and buy an amazing dress and tear up the dance floor with your best friends!

Dear Gina,

How do I start a club?

Photo Credit: Deanna StoneStarting a club is so fun and it’s a great way to have a leadership role at Regina! The first step is to go to Mr. Brodeur’s office and pick up a form. Then you have to fill out the form with the other people who want to start the club with you. The form is pretty simple, but you have to put thought into it if you want to have a successful club!

Dear Gina,

How can I genuinely be happy?

Dear Happy Help, Photo Credit: Deanna Stone

Well, happiness cannot be found through a specific formula or a fool-proof method. There are certain ways to make yourself happier or to even smile a little bit more throughout the day.

One thing you could do is be more positive in your life. Life isn’t perfect, so sometimes you just have to take what happens and let it roll off your shoulders. If something goes wrong, just take a deep breath and calmly find a way to fix it.

Another way to be happy is to spend time with your friends or family. Plan a weekend sleepover with your best friends or make a special Sunday dinner with your family.

My final piece of advice for you is to “Treat Your Self”! Go get your nails done or get yourself a new pair of shoes for the fall. If you take some time to take care of yourself, then you will be more relaxed and happy.
