Calli Aslan, Staff Reporter
Calli Aslan is a senior at Regina Dominican High School. She grew up in Edgebrook, a northwest Chicago suburb that’s one of the smallest neighborhoods in the city. She attended Edgebrook Elementary for nine years and participated in gymnastics throughout her years there.
She is a staff reporter on Crown. She found her love in criminology and psychology. As an only child, she would like to attend college in state as she couldn’t imagine not seeing her parents every day.
During her last year at Regina, she hopes to look for opportunities in the city to learn more about her passions. Calli’s father was a police officer for 35 years and it had sparked her interest in criminal behavior. He has become a role model in her life and inspires her each day to try new things and work hard.
