A new club, the Tech Club, is coming to Regina next semester. The club will provide basic information for improving the understanding of technological information to students.

Moderated by Mr. Charles Rocha and Mrs. Houston, students who participate in this club will help to provide technological support to the members of the Regina Dominican community and, hopefully, help run  morning broadcasting public announcements and manage the help desk for the Regina community. Tech club is a great place to start for students who want to pursue a profession in the technological field. The club will have selective membership, so that students will be more prepared to help people in need of assistance.

Mr. Rocha describes the mission of this club as to “support and enhance the academic mission of Regina Dominican High School through responsive service, enabling infrastructure, effective administrative systems, and innovative solutions.”

Tech club is an incredible opportunity for students to get involved in service within the Regina family. Technological concerns raised from students and faculty can be corrected in a more speedy way through the students participating in the club.

When asked why Regina should need this club, Mr. Rocha responded in three parts. He talked about the service the club provides and said, “serving students, faculty and staff is our reason for existing. We continually seek to understand the needs of those who depend on us and strive to exceed their expectations.”
