Do It Yourself: How to Make A Delicious Fall Treat

Cinnamon Snickerdoodle bars are a fantastic treat for the fall season.  This recipe makes about 24 servings, so it is an excellent dessert for a holiday or other gatherings. I have made these cinnamon sickerdoodle bars multiple times before and they are always fun to make and eat.

Step One: Gather Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Step Two:

  • First preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Then grease an 8″ x 11″ pan

Step Three:

  • First beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar together
  • Next, add the eggs and vanilla into the mixture
  • After, combine flour, salt, and baking soda into a seperate bowl

Step Four:

  • Transfer the batter into the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
  • Bake cookie bar for 25-30 minutes
  • Let Cinnamon Snickerdoodle cookie bar cool and enjoy
